Boat-friendly dish medley

From provisioning, storing and rationing to preparing food onboard, cruising lifestyle puzzled me initially. It’s about flexibility and inventing new meals with whatever is available at the moment. I did not help that we wanted to stick to keto diet as closely as we could.

Lunches when underway have to be quick, yet fun and nutritionally varied. On days we moor or drop anchor, I plan our dinner early, and with a dash of special dry/frozen ingredients and a mighty pressure cooker the results can be quite rewarding.

Since the camera eats first, here is a running collection of the dishes we enjoyed.

If we still have fresh veggies, a coconut cream based Thai chicken curry is super quick and easy.
Cabbage chicken stew is the thing in which Russian and Irish taste buds concur
Precooked brats get sliced and browned in a minute.
Microwave mug muffin with cream cheese.
Boiled eggs instead of fried. I keep burning fried eggs, perhaps because propane gas burns higher?
Boooooiled eggs and processed meat. Low carb Finn Crisps for days
Finn Crisps again, with mozzarella, tomato sauce, pepperoni, basil (it survived on the boat for quite a while), topped with some parmesan. Microwaved for 30 seconds
